2514 Minimum DRAM

Will the Cisco 2514 IOS IP/Firewall load and operate with only 8 megs of DRAM? The recomended is 10Mb-DRAM and 16Mb-flash.

It may load, but you are guaranteed to have issues with it. The guidelines set forth for memory requirements are very good ones; your best bet is to upgrade the memory.
