2960G-48TC-L replacement suggestions

Hi all respected members,

We have some 2960G-48TC-L and C2960-24PC-L switches in our network. They are working perfectly but i was thinking to upgrade them with newer Cisco models. i need suggestions about that.

Should we replace them or not. what is the improvement to newer models that can benefit us in term of security and other aspects. I was looking 9200 series also and find out that now Cisco has implemented software license with these switches. But i am more interested to upgrade them with 2960-X models since i dont want to buy the license after 3 y for example for 9200-L series.

Unless there is an operational need for a hardware upgrade, I'd say just stick with what you've got. As you've said, the current situation is "working perfectly".
If you can, upgrade the firmware of the switches to the latest-and-greatest.
