4011 and 4013 Recogition

Happy New Year!

I would like to know because I'm a bit confused about the 4011 and 4013 recognition that I received when I got my CCNA and CCNP in Security? Is that a certificate or just a recognition that we complete the training but we still need to get a certification exam for the INFOSEC?

Passing the CCNA Security and CCNP Security exams serves as the certification requirement for the 4011 and 4013 "recognitions".

You can confirm it by going to cisco.pearsoncred.com and seeing your status for them as "certified" when you've passed those exams.

Re CISSP - no.

CISSP is a separate certification under the auspices of the International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium (ISC2). They have a set of requirements and a proctored exam (offered through PearsonVue) specifically for the CISSP.
