515E Not Booting - After Upgrade..

When i upgrade from 6.35 to 7.04 - my pix doesnot boot. it stops saying reading from Flash.. I did the upgrade using copy ftp flash command as said in the document. My PIX has the recommended hardware requirements.

Any help will be appreciated..

Does your 515 meets the minimum memory requirement (128Mo) for this upgrade.

Oops! Sorry forget my last email.

Another thing, somebody in this forum has already provided a solution for this error. He removed and replaced jumper#5 (JP5) on the pix board.

I actually did not try his recipy but you may find the complete information on this forum.

I am in a remote location. It is not possible to open the Box. Is there any method please ..

Is the console port available? and can you boot the PIX in monitor mode only.

The console port is available and while booting it stays saying Reading from Flash..

i am not able break the sequence while booting ..

and also i tried booting with boothelper. in this case it boots and after i upload the older version of software from tftp and it gives a error called

Watchguard .....failure.........

and it reboots automatically..
