I'm interested in feedback on the following scenario: 871 Integrated Services Router for home office users...wireless and ports 1-3 are corporate and always-on VPN. Port 4 is 'open' to Internet, seperate from Corporate. Any personal PCs connect through Port 4 only (maybe add a Linksys or something for their home network). I manage the 871 at the corporate level, but leave Port 4 open for their personal use. Can I do it, and is it secure?

Yes, you can do it and it's secure to do so.

Yes, you can do it.
The security of the solution will be dependent upon how it is implemented (access-lists, wireless encryption, etc).

How will you go about implementing this? I am very interested in this as I would like to do somethign similar, but I'm not exactly sure how to go about it. In my case, I would like to totally restrict access to the Fa0-3 to only corporately approved devices.
Thanks.
