auth-proxy push?

When setting up auth-proxy on an IOS router using the http server, how does the user access the webpage?

Does it get pushed if he's not authenticated?

Say an un-authenticated user loads up his PC and loads up his web-browser with www.cisco.com as his default page. Will he be denied access since he must type the ip of the router to get the webpage or will he be pushed the webpage since he isn't authenticated?

Basically, the router redirects the user to its own web site that prompts the user to enter their username and password. Until they do this the router won't allow their connection to an external site.
