asdm image disk0:/asdmfile

what its mean disk0:/asdmfile?

this tells the ASA/PIX which ASDM image to use..

so asdm image flash:/asdm-511.bin

tells the device to use the ASDM v5.11 image

I was trying asdm image command but it's doesn't exist, are there any other form to activate asdn on my pix 515-e

You're running 6.3. ASDM only works with >= 7.0.

Hi, can anyone help? i cannot install ASDM.

Previous i have asdm 1.4(7) version, after upgrade the ASA to 7.2 and ASDM 5.2 i cannot use the old version. when i want to install the latest version it will show internal error.

Do anyone facing this problem before?
