Cannot bring up a web page from outside world...pix7.21

Hello,

Testing a PIX515e that has recently been upgraded from 6.3 to 7.21.

When I make this firewall my default gateway I cannot bring up a web page from the outside world.

This unit is the secondary unit on a failover setup. I am afraid to put in the system knowing that I cannot get out to Internet with its present configuration from the test lab.

Any advise or suggestions greatly welcome.

Hi .. If this is the secondary firewall .. then you only need to configure basic failover settings on it and once the firewall is connected to the Primary then the configuration will be synched.

You only need to make sure the failover configuration on the Primary is correct and that both PIXes are running the same code.

Once connected then you can do a show failover to see the status of the failover. whihc should show normal on the interfaces.

Now by only looking at the config I belive your globa NAT needs to be changed to

global (outside) 1 198.137.151.225 netmask 255.255.255.255
