I am setting up a firewall on a rather archaic network using a cisco 2811. The network is made up of a mix of Win95,98 and XP machines all running novell netware. When the dynamic nat is enabled all works well. Using the basic firewall wizard, the wheels start to come off. I realize I must setup some applications to access the internet, but here is my quandry. I have a newer laptop, XP updated, latest IE updates. My machine attached to the firewalled network, has no problems. The other machines XP, 95 or otherwise cannot utilize secure websites nor access such things as southwest airlines online ticketing. Only common network application, that I can find, on the system is Netware. One of the XP machines on the network is as up to date as my laptop, but works no better than the 98 machines. Any suggestions?
