Cisco Franken IDS

hi

anyone knows how to create the Franken IDS ?

it is booting up and installing the IDS sensor 4.0 or 4.1 in a pc.

if anyone is able to shed some light into this it would be welcome

Cisco does not support, but more importantly does NOT sell, nor license the Cisco IDS software for running on a standard PC.

Cisco IDS can only be purchased and run on standard Cisco IDS appliances and modules.

Only internal Cisco employees can legally run the Cisco IDS software on non Cisco IDS appliances and modules under special circumstances (such as development of newer appliances and modules).
