halfway through a CSA rollout I have came across 1 laptop that would not register with the CSA management server. The install log looks good and the csa log says it resolves the CSA management server. Version 4.01. Partial log below. Any ideas?
Thanks.
Registration failed without message Error code=2031
Registering with server xxxxx, Failure (2031)
and for a fast poll.
Performing fast poll...Failure (2031).
conn_check: started
conn_check: ip config: ok
conn_check: dns : resolved mgmtserver name xxxxx
conn_check: https : mgmtserver is reachable via https
conn_check: finished

Rick,
Check to see if that client is in the allowed registration IP range by clicking:
Maintenance > Registration Control
from within the MC.
Thanks,
Josh

I think you are out of licenses. Check your event log to make sure but I am pretty sure this is the problem.

Thanks Travis.
I checked the CSA event log and the Windows event log and no errors are recorded. The license information in the CSA mgmt server has 110 registered desktop agent licenses. The PC install with the problem was number 49. I can go on to the next one and see what happens. But at this point a license problem doesn't seem like the problem.

I installed 2 other clients without issue. I think that rules out a license issue. Anyone else have any ideas?

Bingo.
I had a typo in the registration control that wasn't covering the full IP range that I needed.
Thanks for all your help.
