In an environment that has CSA deployed for client workstations and McAfee EPO and McAfee Foundstone VA scanner deployed in the network for managing network security,what would be the apt choice for HIPS server agents? CSA or McAfee Entercept?
1)What would be the pros and cons If I choose McAfee Entercept for HIPS server agents when Windows XP workstations are installed with CSA.
2)What would be the pros and cons If I choose CSA for HIPS Server agents when network is deployed with McAfee EPO-E policy orchestrator and Foundstone Vulnerbility scanner?
EPO is the McAfee system security management solution.
EPO- manages protection across desktops, fileservers, groupware servers, and the gateway, including anti-virus, system firewalls, anti-spam, content filtering, Host IPS- comprehensive, enterprise system security management.
Please let me know asap, we are in the process of choosing HIPS for servers for a network having more than 10,000 client workstations and 500 servers.Your thoughts on this is greatly appreciated.
