Does anyone know where I can find the downgrade procedure for PIX 7.0 to 6.3(4)? My colleague upgrade my PIX to a ver 7 w/o my knowledge and when i try to downgrade to a version 6.3(4), the IOS keep rebooting. It seems that the IOS has crashed.

Upgrade AND downgrade procedures are detailed here:
http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/iaabu/pix/pix_sw/v_70/pix_upgd/pixupgrd.htm
You should just need to put the 6.3(4) code onto a TFTP server on your network, then use the:
downgrade tftp://a.b.c.d/pix634.bin
command. If it's still rebooting then cut/paste the console output back here and we'll try and see what's going on.

Sadly my bootup is in monitor mode as such i can't type the command downgrade.

I've got the same problem:
- downgrade in monitor isn't possible (reformatting flash)
- CLI not usable in cause of boot loop while try to reconfigure for 7.0
There is a configuration error in my config for 6.3, so that the PIX goes into a loop.
Have you got any very good information in the meantime?
What can I do with this device?
Many thanks for a good answer...
