Dear forum,

I try to manage a very big PIX configuration (about 1000 acls) from FMC 1.3 but I experience really poor performance and in particular due to java interface.

Does anybody knows how to customize FMC to speed up java or to optimize the various processes ?

I access the FMC server (PentiumIV server 2.8 Ghz with 2 GB RAM) from a client with 512MB RAM...

Any iddea will be greatly appreciated...

Whenever I have slow java performance, i either upgrade to the latest java vm, or i will downgrade top the previous version. Some versions of Java just dont jive well with some of my java appliances. This is the best remedy i can offer you
