I get an error pasting in the access-list stating that the memory has exhausted. When I issue the command to see my lists, it only shows one of them. I try and paste in the other and I get the same message. I did notice a note to save to flash but can't understand why this new and improved Firewall doesn't accept the list when the old and reliable PIX does.
Thanks in advance,
David

How big is your access-list? There is an issue with large ACL's where the FWSM will run out of memory, be careful particularly if you use a lot of object-groups cause these all get expanded out during compilation.
It is fixed in interim code 1.1.3(16) which you will need to open a TAC case and have them post it for you. Bug ID to mention to them (in case they haven't heard of it) is CSCee02795 (http://www.cisco.com/cgi-bin/Support/Bugtool/onebug.pl?bugid=CSCee02795&Submit=Search)

Thanks for you response. Both list total 178KB.
We just upgraded to 1.1.(3)14 and it didn't help.
Maybe the new release will.
We do have a ticket in at this time but just haven't heard anything back.
Again thanks for your quick response.
