How many sessions does VPN3002 support ?

Dear All,

Does anyone know how many concurrent sessions does VPN3002 Hw Client support ? The specification for VPN3005 to VPN3080 concurrent session are posted on the web , but I couldn`t find any for VPN3002 Hw Client.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hi Engel,

3005 and 3080 are the two VPN concentrators ( or they act as the VPN servers ). 3002 on the other hand is a Hw VPN client, and you can only establish one tunnel from the clients.

So in short, you can only have one active tunnel going to one concentrator.

Hello Engel and Jazib,

Engel, could you possibly want to know how many clients can sit behind the 3002 and get out over the tunnel? As Jazib and The Highlander have said, "There can be only one"..tunnel that is, but if memory serves you can have as many clients behind that 3002 as you can get onto any single subnet that is on the inside interface of the 3002. Is that right Jazib?

Hi there,

Using NEM, the tunnel is established between the private subnet of the 3002 to the Spli-tunnel list on the concentrator. So depending on the subnet mask of the 3002 client, you can have as many client as you want behind it
