Hello

Pix501 outside int-ce was configured as pppoe-client. Pppoe username and password were created with [store-local] option:

vpdn username USER password PASS store-local

Later, trying to change password, I was unable to erase it.

I have tried:

clear vpdn username

clear vpdn

no vpdn username USER password PASS store-local

write erase

NOTHING HELPS it is still in memory

Trying to write new password "vpdn username USER password NEW_PASS store-local" i'm getting an answer that pix could store only one password.

I've tried this, it did not solve the issue. As i read [store-local] option stores password and username in special location in NVRAM.

What code version is the PIX running?

Pix version 6.3(4)

All I can find is this

http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/iaabu/pix/pix_sw/v_63/config/pixclnt.htm#wp1037306

Perhaps you should open a TAC qwery to get the answer you require.
