Is there a way to filter streaming video/audio or at least limit the amount of band width used by such programs? We have an internet T1 coming through a 2610 router then to a Pix 525. We want to be able to control the streaming sites. Some of these sites are approved and are open through the proxy. These are the ones that we want to limit the amount of bandwidth they can use. Also is there away to see who is using these types of sites?

If you want to stop streaming audio try NBAR on the router.

The problem I had with NBAR was this: you have to turn on CEF first. Turning on CEF caused my router to run out of memory and reset. I have 128mb of memory on a 7200VXR router.
