Hi there!
I'm looking for a downloadable IDS signature database, can someone help me?

Here is a free one from Cisco. If you download the IDS Event viewer here http://www.cisco.com/cgi-bin/tablebuild.pl/ids-ev in the upper right hand corner your can click on NSDB (Network Security Database) and get a listing of all the IDS signatures that Cisco has. You will need to go back to this page and update IEV as new signatures are released to stay current. Go here http://www.cisco.com/pcgi-bin/lm/show_form.pl?108557262937664794921875615&123668_4 to sign up for notifications via e-mail when new signatures are released.
FYI. You don't have to have a Cisco IDS in order to use this software to look up signatures.
Hope this helps.

Cisco also offers the NSDB online via the "Cisco Secure Encylopedia" (http://www.cisco.com/cgi-bin/front.x/csec/csecHome.pl).
Just follow the "IDS Signatures" link and select how you want to view them.
If you just want to see the whole list, go here: http://www.cisco.com/cgi-bin/front.x/csec/idsAllList.pl
NOTE: You'll need to authenticate using your CCO account in order to see anything at either link.
Hope this helps,
Alex
