Can anyone tell me what i must do to login and configure a 4215 IDS sensor.

When the system boots i have two options "Option 0" and "Option 1" option one is recovery so i am assuming its option 0. The system is running Linux.

I'm stumped, i really don't know what to do and there is no documentation showing what to do except how to initialize the sensor, but it does show you how to login into the sensor

can someone help

After a sensor has fully booted, you can log in via console connx, Web browser, or through TELNET(if enabled) or SSH.

The console connection and TELNET/SSH are obviously a command line interface. Use of a web browser to https://, will allow you to log into IDM (IDS Device Manager), a GUI interface to your sensor. The aforementioned assumes that you have a basic config on your sensor.

If you have only installed the OS and have not yet logged in, you will need to:

1- Enter the default username/password: cisco/cisco

2- Type 'setup'

That is really all there is to it. The command 'setup' will start a prompt driven configuration guide which will require you to assign a name, IP, SNM, gateway, etc, etc to your sensor. Then, after a reboot, you should be able to access your sensor through any of the means I outlined in the first paragraph.
