Does anyone know how to transparently force http traffic from some hosts (inside subnet 10.3.0.0/16) on one interface of a Cisco PIX firewall through a proxy server?

Hi,
As far as i know, it is not possible. It is not the role of PIX.
The proxy redirection should happen at the client end ( in the browser configuration..)
Refer to a similar thread posted today..

hi u cannot redirect http traffic for a proxy server but u can surely redirect them for a url-filtering server. by the way if u are using the proxy for authentication of clients for http sites. u can configure that also on the pix.
if u want the users should have access the proxy first before accessing a website u will have to place the proxy server before the pix. this will dpend how many interfaces u are using in the proxy server.
give us more info to sort out this issue.

Hi,
WCCP is supported on PIX version 7.2. You can utilise this feature if your transparent proxy support WCCP as well.
