Has anyone setup a Polycom V500 to be used behind their ASA5520?
I came across a release note on their web site that lists the following ports:
TCP1720, TCP 3230-3235, TCP 3603, TCP 389, UDP, 3230-3253, UDP 1718-1719.
It also mentions that it works fine with "no fixup protocol h323 h225 1720".
which means that with the ASA, I have to disable those inspect.

we need static and the access-list opening the relevant ports
Besides disable the Inspect H323 and H225 from the global policy

Thanks for your reply...I know that we will need static and ACL that is why I mentioned the ports. My question really was to find out if anyone has done this config and was successful

Ok to get the V500 to work behind a Pix firewall, not only that the NAT and ports need to be opened, additional configurations are needed on the V500.
NAT has to be enabled on the V500, choose manual and enter the public IP address that is assigned to the V500. Make that "NAT is H.323 Compatible" is not checked. Et voila!
