Hello all, I have WebVPN working. However, from an internal httpd server, I cannot determine the username of the webvpn user that is logged in. Is there a way of passing in (or retrieving) the webvpn username on an internal webserver without requiring another login?
Thank you.

For webvpn, you can use single signon server which requires SiteMinder or SAML POST. This is if you are using an ASA 5500 device.

Bummer. I was hoping for some change in the html on 5505 to pass it through in a cookie or URL.
Well, thanks anyway for your reply.

How is your authentication handled now?

I use the ASA itself to authenticate. I enter the usernames in the VPN configuration.
