Question on Enable Start Before Logon and certificates

We are using the 5.0.02.0090 client.

Right now it seems that you have to preselect which certificate you want to use to be able to login.

Is it possible for a user that has never logged into the box to be able to use start before logon with a certificate?

If they log in first they can then create the connection but we are looking to have them create the VPN connection prior to windows login.

VPN connection prior to windows login is possible but not with certificates and in windows Vista. A new user can authenticate with the ACS and then have the certificate created.
