"Catalyst 6000 IDS Module" NICs

I read the Catalyst 6000 IDS Module has two PCI NICs: the first one for monitoring, and the other one for management.

Are the NICs only provided with "copper adapter", or could they be provided with "optical adapter" too?

They are internal to the blade. It is not an external NIC. Two ports will show up on the module if you do a sho mod. The first port is the "capture" port and the second port is the "management" port.
