Is there a single client that can be installed that will make a connection to both a VPN3000 and a VPN5000 concentrator?
We are a consulting firm and some of our users have the need to connect to many different VPN servers. So I'm looking for a better solution than "just uninstall that one and install the other one when you need it".

Hi Rick,
Fortunately, Cisco has just the solution for you with the Unified Cisco VPN Client, which can connect to multiple servers like CVPN3000/PIX Firewalls & IOS Routers all with the same client. As for the CVPN5000 client, sometime back it used to co-exist with the CVPN3000 client on the same machine just fine. So maybe it will work by co-existing on the same machine.
Hope this helps,

Thanks for the quick reply Aamir.
Couple of questions about your reply -
The current FAQ says that you can't have the Unified client installed with the cvpn5000 client, and in fact the installation automatically prompts you to uninstall. So, is there a particular version you can recall that allowed coexistance?
Also, exactly which unified client are you refering to? Just the latest cvpn300 client?
Thanks again,
Rick
