hi guys
it is possible ?
i would like to install an SDM software on PC, and figure out what in there,so i got installation success, but when i ve tried to launch the software, i got a password and a user , and i ve been asked to be connected to a cisco device since i have no cisco device connected to my PC, it s possible to overcome this blocking and get inside the software just to discover how like it looks..
if there is a solution please what it is ? and what is the password and the user account to provide .
thanks in advance

Hi,
Once you have SDM loaded go to Cisco's web site and download the "Sales Demo" from here:
http://www.cisco.com/pcgi-bin/tablebuild.pl/sdm-tool-demo
Follow the instructions in the word document and you'll be able to have a look around the software without being attached to any routers.
HTH - plz rate if useful

Kamal,
SDMs are basically designed for GUI of various cisco devices. without the device online, SDMs cannot be used... u cannot login to SDM and simulate things... u can probably have a look in the CCO for documentation of SDM and see how exactly it looks...
hope this helps.. all the best.. rate replies if found useful..
