single logon requirement

My company wants to implement a VPN for travelling consultants and executives. One of the requirements that they have set forth is that they only want to logon once and have that accomplish both VPN and Win2K authentication. If a CVPN3005 were used with 'Authentication Type' set to NT Domain and the appropriate domain controller deisnated, would this work? How about if a PIX were used instead of a VPN concentrator? Would it matter if the client were the Windows VPN client or the Cisco VPN client?

Thanks

You can achieve the requirement using "Enable start before logon" on Cisco VPN Client. This only available with OS Win 2000/NT as I recall. The issue I got before is on how the remote client`s window be able to contact the PDC through the VPN tunnel. It means some name resolution issue. Enabling WINS server does help for contacting PDC using its NETBIOS name without much delay.
