I am trying to get our CiscoWorks to manage a PIX 520 firewall running ver 6.3.3. It seems to get SNMP information but getting and managing the configs has been a problem. When I look in the PIX log I see this message: INFO %PIX-6-315011: SSH session from 10.80.134.21 on interface inside for user "manage" disconnected by SSH server, reason: "packet CRC check failed" (0x02).
The session gets set up but then it gets dropped.
I can't find any information on pix message 315011. I can ssh into the pix using putty just fine. Can Ciscoworks even do this?
Thanks,
Steve

I found this:
CRC check failed - The CRC value computed for a particular packet does not match the CRC value embedded in the packet; the packet is bad - No action required. If this message persists, call customer support.
Perhaps your ciscoworks box is creating bad packets ? Can you SSH from the same box, or sniff the traffic and capture the packets (look at the CRC's)?
Just some thoughts..

Can you give a try to regenerate the SSH keys.
