Can someone explain what this command does? I had a problem today at a customer where this command was implemented. The customer's router died and they got a new one. There was one static entry from a global address to an inside NT server. After the router was replaced the NT server could not get out to the Internet. I took out that noproxyarp command and it started working. Any ideas??

sysopt noproxyarp controls whether or not the pix responds to arp requests made to configured static, global or NAT addresses. most likely this worked because it caused flushing of the pix arp cache.
