Hello,
We have PIX 515 with ver 6.3(3).WE will be installing the Polycom Video conference system (Viewstation) on our Internal Network behind the Firewall and this Video conference system will dial to Public IP for Video conferencing . As per Polycom manual , it says that is uses H.323 protocol . What are the ports to be opened on outside interface on my firewall.
Thanks in advance.

Seems to me that if you want to dial out to a public IP, then you wouldn't be required to open any ports in your firewall.
If access to your Polycom from the outside (Internet) is required, ports would then need to be opened.
I have similar questions regarding the proper configuration of our PIX to allow incoming calls from the outside (Internet) to internal Polycoms. I get conflicting information from Polycom, Cisco and everybody in between ranging from h.323 Fixups "on" or "off", proper port ranges in ACLs, ect...
If anybody has a configuration that works for them, please share.
Thanks!!
