We have a ASA1002X that is receiving 600meg of traffic that is unicast and then NAT to multicast out. This is the only traffic on the router. We do not see any drops in any of the port statistics or the NAT statistics however when we do a 10 minute packet capture on the input traffic on port 0/0/0 and the the output traffic on port 0/0/4 we see that we are dropping some packets. The traffic is UDP. We know we are dropping traffic for in the data field there is a 16 modulo count and when analyzing them we see where the drops are. It isn't very much but it does indeed drops packets.
Has anyone experienced this and is there a fix or should we be looking for a different device to do this unicast to multicast NAT?
