One of my customer are connected with three service providers via eBGP. The customer router is connected to service provider A directly and to service provider B & C through a Juniper SRX hardware appliance running in routed mode. Service provider A has a Cisco ASA firewall at the internet edge and has configured TCP bypass to evade the problem which may occur due to asymmetric routing, and allowed the ports needed for email communication. The customer can browse the internet but has complained that email service is not working when all the service providers are connected. The customer can only use email service properly with service provider B and C. THe Juniper SRX hardware appliance is running at routed mode, does TCP bypass needs to be configured at the Juniper appliance too ?
