cisco asa 5505 asdm not working

HI support team

I've received one Cisco ASA 5505 and am unable to connect to the ASDM on either. Ive done all the basics and but something is clearly wrong

With the default settings on the ASA I am able to ping the ASA from the laptop and vice verse however when trying to browse to https://192.168.1.1 nothing happens at all, no errors etc. IE just shows that the page cannot be displayed, have even tried chrome.

See running-config below:

ASA Version 8.2(5)

Hi,

I saw the configuration, and it looks fine:

http server enable
http 192.168.1.0 255.255.255.0 inside

Though we are missing the ASDM image uploaded to the ASA, best practice is to install the latest image:

 - https://software.cisco.com/download/release.html?mdfid=279513399&catid=268438162&softwareid=280775064&release=7.4.1&relind=AVAILABLE&rellifecycle=&reltype=latest

You may use the Command Line interface to upload the image using a TFTP server.

   Example of configuration:

ASA5510#copy tftp disk0:

Address or name of remote host []? 172.16.31.1
Source filename []? asdm-741.bin
Destination filename [asdm-741.bin]?
Accessing tftp://172.16.31.1/asdm-741.bin...

Then issue the command:

ASA5510(config)# asdm image disk0:/asdm-741.bin

After that open a browser and try to access your ASDM through the browser.
