[Cisco FAQ] - Why am I unable to launch ReportWriter from the Admincon GUI?

I am getting a timeout error message in my FireFox browser window.

One possible reason for this error could be the configuration of loghost in the /etc/hosts file. Check this entry to make sure it is associated with a local IP address.

If loghost must be associated with a non-local IP address, you may launch ReportWriter directly by entering

http://localhost:8045 in the browser.
