Hi,

Is there a tool where i can put the serial number for a device and get to know whether it is covered under Smartnet or not covered.

Is there a cisco smartnet calculator from Cisco systems?

Adding to Vinit comment.

1.Go to the Service Contract Centre:  http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/437/scc/index.html
2.  Click "Launch Tool"
3.  A window should hopefully pop up.  In the search bar, choose "Serial Number" and you enter you-know-what in the box next to it. 

or if you  have been provided a contract number. You can logon to the Cisco web site and register the contract number, which will show you which serial numbers are covered.
