I'm trying to connect to MMB on Cisco C880 M4 chassi via com port and been following the manual instructions. I want to start configuring the chassi initially to later instead use the web gui. I'm unable to get anywhere as I get no response in Putty from the chassi. I tried pushing buttons on keyboard to get some activation but no luck. Both active and ready lights on MMB is showing steady green light.
Been setting Putty with serial connection settings for:
Baud rate 19200 (tried with 9600 as well)
Data bit 8
Parity bit None
Stop bit 1
Flow control None
Emulation VT100 (Tried with and without "Enable VT100 line drawing even in UTF-8 mode" setting in Putty.
Com port recognized via device manager and use the port and cable to access different cisco switches without problems.
Anyone have any idea what the issue might be or how to troubleshoot further? Your help will be much appreciated!
