Scenario:
I telnet into R0
I terminal into R1 via reverse terminal
I terminal into S1, a switch module inside R1
Question:
Whats the escape sequence to get back into R1 from S1, as doing a CRTL+SHIFT+6+X gets me back into R0? If i then clear the line and reconnect I am back into S1? I want to make 1 step back, not back to the root if you like.

The easiest thing to do is to change the escape sequence for one of the connections.
terminal escape-character 23
This will set the escape sequence to ^w rather than the usual Ctrl+^ combination, so only one router will respond to each sequence.
Greg Ferro has a good article on this here: http://etherealmind.com/changing-break-sequence-cisco-ios-useful-different/
