Camera provisioning error

Hi all

while trying to add cameras to a VSOM 7.6 server we have encountered the below error

Operation failed: Media server reported the error Cannot update device while soft deleted. [CurrentPassword] may not be changed

Has anyone seen this before?

I was adding cameras using the Auto Provisioning settings.

Out of the 31 cameras we were adding to the server we only saw this error with 4 cameras.

We now cannot log onto any of these 4 cameras using the defaul password or the password we assigned that should of been pushed down via Auto Provisioning.

Were these 4 cameras ever associated with the server in question at some point in the past... or are they 100% NIB (New-in-box)?

Hi Scott

These were new out of the box cameras.

Was able to physically factory reset the cameras to access them via web browser but from the VSOM I was still unable to successfully add them and still had the errors.

In the end I had waited to much time on the issue so with this being a new non production server I deleted the VM and started from scratch.

This time I didn't use the Auto Provisioning and all cameras are now working.

Maybe the Auto Provisioning is a little buggy? this is the first time I've used it so I'd be interested to hear others experiences with it.
