CIVS-IPC-2900 firmware

Hi,

I am trying to upgrade the firmware on one of my CIVS-IPC-2900 cameras.

I ran the update utility and this confirmed successful, after that I logged into VSM Management Console, from the left side I select "Camera Firmware Upgrade"I the select "Cisco SD 29XX" from Camera Firmware Type drop down and and select the camera I want to upgrade.

Browse and select "CIVS-IPC-2900-1.6.18.2084-O1.7987.ppm" then click "Start Upgrade"

Below is what I get back after:

2016-04-20 07:50:28.164  Exit status 12 (Failed to upload firmware to camera).

Status summary:
    Current status code: 11 (Camera firmware upgrade process ended)
    Current exit code: 12 (Failed to upload firmware to camera)
    Total cameras in upgrade: 1
    Completed cameras in upgrade: 0
    Failed cameras in upgrade: 1
    Remaining cameras: 0

    ERROR: Upgrade finished without upgrading any cameras

Attached is the System Information for the camera.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry to hear that.  Unfortunately, I haven't had to upgrade this particular model myself, so I don't have any first-hand experience to share with you.  Based on what you've described, it sounds like you are following the release notes as intended.  It looks like you may need to involve Cisco TAC to troubleshoot further.
