civs-msp-4ru Max Ram Usage

     i'd like to know what is the max Ram usage with server civs-msp-4ru , i couldn't find any details about it , Please Advise !!!!

The original, supported, configuration of the first generation CIVS-MSP-4RU chassis was:

Single Quad-core Intel Xeon Harpertown E5410 Processor, 2 GB DDR2 SDRAM

Cisco VSM support for this legacy hardware platform was dropped several major versions ago if I remember correctly.

Hi Scott , Thanks for your kind feedback , Yes this is the specs of 1st generation of the chassis but iam asking about if there is any possibility to add extra Rams in the servers . Regards, Amr

It's surely possible if you are intending to repurpose the chassis for something other than Cisco VSM.  I don't recall the actual specific mainboard used in that model chassis, but adding additional memory shouldn't be an issue.

Unfortunately, I no longer have physical access to a 4RU server to pop the lid off and confirm.
