Yes.  I have a few lab virtual machines running it.

Hi Scott,

We upgraded our virtual lab eq. but it is not registering to vsom and vsom page is staying on "loading value". Is yours working good?

I'm not sure what you mean by "not registering to VSOM".  Are both roles co-located on the same hardware?

I have seen the "loading value" text on the VSOM login page before, yes.  In all my cases, this has simply indicated that the components haven't finished fully loading yet.

You can still check via CLI on RHEL by;

- logging in as localadmin

- sudo'ing to root with 'sudo su -'

- '/etc/init.d/cisco status' or

- 'vscheck'

... as per previous versions.  If all the services report running, just try refreshing the login page?

I had this exact same issue and it never completes. I can never get logged into VSOM at all as the domain filed is always in that state. In VSM it reports the operations manager failed. Has anyone experienced this yet? I can't seem to find what's tripping up the upgrade. Aside from that everything else went cleanly. Any thoughts and help appreciated.

We install a new 7.0.1 than upgrade it before adding camera or any temp, locations, it worked but if you install to a working system it fails everytime.

Hello Scott,

We are experiencing a similar issue. We are using VSOM version 7.2.2. Noticed some upgrade was automatically attempted and then it failed. However now the vsom console does not show any domain. Its keeps saying that its loading. Checked the output of the commands that you mentioned above but all looks good there too. Pasting the output below.

Also uploading the support logs incase that can provide any information that could be helpful.

Any help would be very appreciated.

FYI - You probably shouldn't share these Support Reports in a public forum as they may contain DB dumps from the system in question.

I did take a quick peek at the logging, and it appears you have a failing disk subsystem (RAID array):

Your filesystems may actually have some damage based on the logs indicating missing sbin binaries?

My suggestion would be to administratively down the Cisco services and correct your issues with the RAID array and ensure the file systems are sound... then look at bringing services back up.

I just posted a response to this on cwhill's seperate post on this issue.

A bug was filed yesterday in regards to this issue. Please see the link before to see if it describes your issue.

Hi Braden,

I just tried the scripts after upgrading 7.2 to 7.5 and was seeing loading values etc. then from Operation Manager terminal ran the scripts then restarting cisco services then everthing is OK now.

Thanks..

PS. Before running deleting sql scripts, I just convert "delete" ones to "select *" one then the outputs at the attachements. Means that the delete scripts actually delete some garbage data as you said before..

Thank you for sharing that for others to see.

And we are working on not needing this workaround in the next patch.

We upgraded to 7.5 from 7.2.1 with no issues. Our VSOM is on a UCS as is 3 of our media servers. We have another 3 media servers on MCP's and they upgraded without problems. I can view VSM on IE11, Chrome, and Firefox, although Chrome and Firefox takes about 13 seconds to switch between camera views. My only disappointment is that there is STILL no app for the iPad/iPhone for VSOM like there is for Android. We use LiveCams Pro to view some of our Cisco cams and all of our analog cams.
