CPAM Door Lock help

I have a challenging problem.  I have 2 Cisco Gateways.   If I have a device on gateway 1 input 3 that needs to unlock a door lock on Gateway 2, how would I accomplish this?   Gateway 2 was out of input ports, so the trigger had to be installed on a different gateway.   The input on gw1 is normally open, so when they push the button, it needs to unlock Door 2 on Gateway 2.  Any help would be much appreciated.

Do you have available cabling that connects the two closets together?  If not we could use Global I/O, but using that there is a delay (3-5 seconds).
