Default username/password won't work CIVS-IPC-3520

Hi,

I have two CIVS-IPC-3520 camera's and I'm trying to access them through a browser to set them up. The default username / password (admin/admin) isn't working. I also tried to bring them to their factory default settings by holding down the reset button for 15 seconds but that isn't working either.

Version of the camera's is: 1.2.1-73

Anybody any suggestions ?

Yeah... I think I recall encountering something similar previously.

Have you tried admin / Cisco123      ?

What about admin and a blank password?

Hi Scott,

No this isn't working either... but the default username/password is admin/admin. 

I found out what the problem was. It's Safari ! If I try to connect via Safari it comes back asking for the username and password over and over again. When I use Chrome it logs in correctly.

Ahhh... yup.  You'll find that Internet Explorer will probably provide the most consistent behaviour.

Oh, and try not to run any browser extensions or plugins either :-/ It can break some functionality in VSM too :-(
