I have setup retention policies for my cameras but recordings are not deleted.

I have setup retention policies for my cameras but recordings are not deleted. Most of my cameras can keep recordings for only 25 days but I have some recordings of 2016. I don't understand what is going on or if I missed something.

VSOM version : 7.5

As i understand, something went wrong in past which changed the entries in the DB for specific recording files, which are not groomed off.

we wouldn't suggest to delete the files manually, since these files are mapped with DB entries. best way to remove these files are to understand the expire date for these recordings in the DB.

i would suggest to open a TAC, since this need to be looked over DB and changes has to be met accordingly.
