IP Camera down notification

Dear All,

     i have a setup with VSOM version 6.3.2 with 2500 and 2421 Cisco IP Cameras, i enabled the email notification on the VSOM it is working fine but the problem is that the VSOM is not detecting that an IP CAM is down even when i unplug the camera from the ethernet port it is still giving UP in the health status on the VSOM and hence no notifications are sent from the VSOM regarding this CAM.

so any ideas please ?

How long are you leaving the camera unplugged? I believe the health monitor will only report the camera as down after 5 minutes.

The status is remaining up no matter how much time has passed after the camera went down.
