Meta Data server

Hi,

When using a meta data server, where is the data stored? More specifically, what is the impact on the storage space required per camera?

If I have a 30 day archive sitting on a media server, and I turn on Meta Data for 30 days as well, where is that stored, and am I impacting the storage space on the Media Server?

I looked around in VSMC on the media servers, not sure I am seeing the "meta data archive", so to speak.

I believe it is stored on a separate metadata server you have to add to the system. It functions separately similar to a maps server if you plan on using maps.
