MSP-2RU Server Default RedHat root Pasword For VSM 7.0

I have several MSP-2RU's that came preinstalled with 7.0.  They were never used as by the time I got here the were already EOL and we put 7.0 on a VM.  I have no documentation and can't find anything on the web that would tell me what the root password would be on the RedHat login screen.

Hi Matt,

since superuser is "root", 'root' user password is not defined from VSM 7.0 and later.

if you wish to switch to root user, login with user 'localadmin' followed by password

type --> "sudo su -" this will switch user to root.

Raghav:

You don't know happen to know what the localadmin default password is then?  This is a new never used unit.  We don't have maintenance on it as we deployed VSM on UCS instead.

Thanks

Matt,

Default password for user 'localadmin' is 'secur4u' then Red Hat OS, let's you change the default password.
