Without opening a TAC yet, has anyone looked into the ability to remove the RFID tags from the Catalyst 9k series switchgear? The fixed config is easy enough, but the modular switches have the RFID tags embedded in the Line Card ejector arms (as well as the chassis and fan tray). Also if the RFID tags are removed, does this affect future warranty/replacement issues further down the line?
I don't have an answer as to why I would want to remove these, but I'm interested anyway.
