Time and name text on 4300 IP Camera

Dear All,

I have a VS system running now version 6.3 for VSOM/VSMS and VSVM, I have an issue with Cisco 4300 IP Cameras as I need to archive it using mjpg for some cameras,the problem is the time and text name did not appears in case of mjpeg stream,while I can see it on the H.264 .

The problem now is the archived stream did not contains the time and name text .

Also I tried to disable the channel 1 which operates for H.264 but the problem sitll happen.

the cameras are running now on firmware 1.1.0 .

any idea for this problem?

Dear All,

I found the below in relese note of 1.1.0 for Cisco 4300,

CSCtg45302 : Overlay text does not work with MJPEG secondary streams when the primary stream is disabled.

I will upgrade one camera to version 1.2.1 and update all of you .

Dear All,

The upgrade did not affect on the problem.

the workaround I made ,I enabled the H.264 stram on VSOM and after I made it I get the overlay text for this problem.
